Yerevan has a growing number of people teaching online: designers, developers, marketers, language teachers, psychologists, cooks, musicians. Many start with a Telegram channel and a payment by card transfer. At some point they need an online courses website, and the first question is how big it should be.
Three levels, pick the smallest that works
| Level | What it is | When it fits | Kinto price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Course landing page | One page that sells one course | First course, testing demand, a cohort launch | from $700, about 6 days |
| School website | Several courses, authors, blog, schedule | 3 or more courses, recurring cohorts | from $1,800, about 12 days |
| Learning platform | Student accounts, lessons, tests, progress, certificates | Many students, self-paced courses, corporate clients | custom quote |
Starting with a platform before you have sold the first cohort is the most common and most expensive mistake. Lessons can live in a closed Telegram channel, in a video hosting service with private links or in an existing course platform while the landing page does the selling.
The course landing page, block by block
- Promise in one line. "Learn to design mobile apps in Figma in 8 weeks, from zero to a portfolio."
- Who it is for. Two or three types of students, and also who it is not for.
- Result. What students will be able to do, and what they will have at the end (portfolio, project, certificate).
- Program. Modules with lesson count and what each module gives. This block is read most carefully.
- Author. Real experience, real projects, photo, a short video if you have one.
- Format. Recorded or live, schedule in Yerevan time, homework and feedback, duration, language.
- Tariffs. Two or three options with clear differences.
- FAQ. Refunds, access period, what if I miss a live session, what equipment I need.
- Enrollment. Payment button, or a form and Telegram button for those who want to ask first.
For pages that receive ad traffic, keep the structure tight; see landing page for ads for the reasoning.
Prices and payment
Show prices in AMD for local students. If you sell to the diaspora, show USD or EUR too. Payment options that work in Armenia are bank cards through a payment provider and Idram. Our guide on accepting online payments in Armenia lists what you need to connect them.
Installments are popular for longer courses. If you offer them, say how many payments and when.
Language versions
Many course authors in Yerevan teach in Russian, some in Armenian and English. If you teach the same course in two languages, make two separate program and price blocks, not one mixed page. If the course is in one language but the audience reads another, say clearly on the page: "Lessons are in Russian." Language schools face similar questions, and the language school website article goes into detail.
After payment: access and follow-up
The website sells; something else must deliver. Common setups:
- Payment confirmation triggers a message with a one-time link to a closed Telegram channel.
- Payment confirmation creates an account on a course platform.
- For live cohorts, the student gets a schedule and calendar invites.
Make sure every payment reaches you in Telegram with the student's name and tariff, so you can check access manually in the first weeks.
Trust without invented numbers
New authors are tempted to write "1,000 graduates" or "95% find a job". Do not. Use what you can prove: your real projects, a free lesson, a public portfolio of student work with permission, a clear refund rule. A free first lesson is often the strongest argument.
Search and AI visibility
A course page competes with big platforms in search. You win on specifics: "UX design course in Armenian", "IELTS preparation course Yerevan evening group". Add a short FAQ and a program in text (not only in images) so search engines and AI assistants can read it.
