A dry cleaner website in Yerevan is opened with a coat or a dress in mind. The customer wants to know if you can clean it, how much it will cost, whether someone can collect it and when it will be back. If they have to call to ask any of this, many of them will simply go to the dry cleaner they pass on the way to work. Your site wins when it answers before they call.
The price list is the main page
People look for their specific item. Group the price list the way they think, with "from" prices in dram and turnaround time:
| Category | Examples | What changes the price |
|---|---|---|
| Outerwear | Coats, down jackets, parkas | Length, filling, fur trim |
| Suits and office wear | Jackets, trousers, shirts | Number of pieces, ironing only or full cleaning |
| Dresses | Everyday, evening, wedding | Fabric, decoration, length |
| Leather and suede | Jackets, bags, shoes | Color restoration, repair |
| Home textiles | Curtains, blankets, pillows, carpets | Size, weight, material |
| Children's items | School uniforms, toys | Quantity |
Under the table, add a line: "The final price is confirmed when we inspect the item." This keeps you honest without hiding prices.
A price calculator works well for home textiles and carpets, where size drives the price: enter dimensions, see the estimate.
Pickup and delivery
Pickup is the service that turns a dry cleaner from "the place on the corner" into something people order from home. On the site, explain:
- which districts you cover and the fee for each, or free pickup above an order amount;
- time windows for pickup;
- how the courier records items so nothing gets lost;
- delivery back, or pickup from the counter.
If you cover Kentron, Arabkir, Davtashen and Nor Nork at different fees, list them plainly. The logic is the same as delivery zones in an online store.
The pickup request
Keep it short: address, preferred day and time window, rough list of items ("2 coats, 1 suit, curtains"), phone or Telegram. The request lands in the dispatcher's Telegram. The courier counts and checks items at the door and the final list is sent to the customer.
"Is it ready?"
This is the question dry cleaners answer most by phone. A simple status flow removes it:
- Received and checked.
- In cleaning.
- Ready for pickup or out for delivery.
A Telegram bot can send each update to the customer when the team taps a button, so nobody has to type messages by hand. More on what bots can do in why your business needs a Telegram bot.
Care for delicate items
Customers worry most about expensive and sentimental items: a wedding dress, a leather jacket, a cashmere coat, a carpet from grandparents. A short section on how you handle these builds trust:
- what you inspect before accepting;
- when you refuse an item or warn about risk;
- what happens if a stain cannot be removed;
- your policy on damage, written plainly.
No promises of perfect results. Clear rules are more reassuring.
For businesses
Restaurants, hotels, salons and offices need regular cleaning of uniforms, tablecloths, towels and curtains. A separate section for businesses with a request form (type of business, items, volume, frequency) brings steady orders. Hotels in particular look for a reliable partner during the summer season.
Extra services worth listing
Many dry cleaners also offer services customers do not know about until they ask: minor clothing repairs, replacing zippers, shortening trousers, shoe cleaning and repair, restoring the color of leather, cleaning of strollers and car seats. Each one deserves a line in the price list. A customer who came for a coat and saw "zipper replacement" on the site will bring the jacket with the broken zipper too.
Before launch: test like a customer
| Check | Expected result |
|---|---|
| Find the price of a winter coat | Two taps from the first screen |
| Order a pickup from a phone | Request reaches the dispatcher within a minute |
| Choose a district outside the zone | Site says clearly what to do |
| Status message | Customer receives "Ready" when the team taps it |
| Working hours | Match the map profiles exactly |
Getting found locally
Most dry cleaning customers live or work nearby. A complete Google Business Profile and Yandex Maps card with hours, photos and a link to your site matter as much as the site itself. Use the district names in your page text: "Dry cleaning with pickup in Arabkir and Kentron".
Seasons
Dry cleaners in Yerevan see waves: winter coats in spring, summer dresses and curtains in autumn, blankets and carpets before holidays, and wedding season from late spring. Put a seasonal block on the first screen and change it four times a year. It gives returning customers a reason to order again.
Languages
Many customers in central Yerevan are Russian-speaking or international. A price list in Armenian, Russian and English avoids confusion about item names. A language version costs $600 at Kinto.
