A car wash website in Yerevan is a slightly unusual case. Most people choose a quick wash by what is on the way home, and they find it on Google Maps or Yandex Maps, not on a website. So before spending money on a site, it is fair to ask: what will it do that maps do not? The honest answer is: it sells the services people plan, not the ones they do on impulse.
Where your customers come from
| Service | How people choose | What matters most |
|---|---|---|
| Express wash | Nearest, open now, short queue | Maps listing, hours, location |
| Full wash with interior | Nearby, decent reviews | Maps, photos, price |
| Detailing, polishing, coating | Research, compare, book ahead | Website, before and after photos, prices, booking |
| Subscriptions and fleets | Business decision | Website page, contact, terms |
The first two rows are won on maps. The last two are won on a website.
Step one: fix your maps listing
Before any website, make sure your Google Business Profile and Yandex Maps card are complete: exact pin, entrance photo, hours including holidays, phone, photos of the bays and a link to your site. Many drivers in Yerevan use Yandex Maps and Yandex Go for navigation, so do not ignore that card. Our guide to local SEO in Yerevan covers this in more detail.
Step two: a one-page site
A car wash site does not need ten pages. One well-built page is enough:
- First screen: name, district, "Open 08:00-22:00", a photo of a shiny car in your bay, buttons "Get directions" and "Book detailing".
- Packages: three or four with what is included, time and price in dram.
- Detailing and extras: polishing, ceramic coating, interior dry cleaning, engine wash, headlight restoration.
- Before and after: real photos from your work.
- Subscriptions and corporate: monthly plans, fleet service for taxis and company cars.
- Location: map, entrance from which street, how many bays, waiting area.
- Booking: form or Telegram for services that need a slot.
Packages that are easy to compare
Drivers decide in seconds. Make packages comparable at a glance: same order of items, checkmarks, time and price on each card. Avoid creative names that hide what is inside. "Express", "Full", "Full plus interior" says more than "Silver", "Gold", "Diamond".
Detailing: where the website earns
Detailing customers spend more and plan ahead. They want to see:
- what exactly you do, step by step;
- which products or coatings you use;
- how long the car stays with you;
- photos of results on cars like theirs.
A before and after gallery does most of the selling here. Take photos in the same light and angle, and add the car model and service in the caption.
Showing the queue
Weekends and the days before holidays get busy. You do not need a live queue system. A simple line like "Weekdays before 11:00 are usually quiet" helps people plan. If you want something more, a Telegram bot can let drivers book a slot for a full wash on busy days.
Subscriptions and fleets
Monthly wash subscriptions and contracts with taxi fleets or company car parks bring steady revenue. Give them a short separate section: what the subscription includes, price per month, how to sign up. For companies, a form with the number of cars and contact person.
Directions that actually help
Car washes are often on busy roads where the entrance is easy to miss. A map and directions block with a photo of the entrance, "Coming from the center, turn right after the gas station", and a link that opens the route in the driver's navigation app saves missed turns.
What not to spend money on
- An online payment system for an express wash.
- A blog nobody will update.
- A complex booking calendar for express washes.
- Animated effects that make the page slow on phones.
Gift certificates
Detailing and full interior cleaning make good gifts, especially before New Year and March 8. A small block "Gift a full detailing" with a request button, and a printed or electronic certificate sent after payment, can bring orders in months that are otherwise quiet. Keep the terms simple: what is included, valid until when, how to book.
Questions to answer on the page
A short FAQ block at the bottom removes the most common doubts:
- Do I need to book, or can I just come?
- How long does a full wash take on a weekend?
- Do you wash large SUVs and minivans, and is the price different?
- Can I leave the car and pick it up later?
- Do you accept cards?
Each answer in one or two lines. The same block also helps search engines understand your services, as explained in FAQ block on a website.
Languages
Many drivers in Yerevan are relocants and foreign residents. An English or Russian version alongside Armenian helps, especially for detailing customers who compare carefully. A language version costs $600 at Kinto.
Seasonal moments
Yerevan car washes see clear waves: dusty summer weeks, salty roads after snow in winter, spring cleaning of interiors, and a rush before holidays and weddings. Put a small seasonal block on the page, for example "After-winter underbody wash" in March or "Interior cleaning before summer trips" in June, and change it every season. It gives returning customers a reason to come back and gives your Instagram posts a page to link to.
