Running Instagram ads is easy. Deciding where the click should go is where many businesses lose money. The same ad can lead to your profile, open a direct chat, show Instagram's own lead form, or take people to an instagram ads landing page on your site. Each option suits a different goal.
Four places an ad can lead
| Destination | Good for | Weak spots |
|---|---|---|
| Profile | Awareness, followers | People scroll and leave without contacting |
| Direct messages | Quick questions, low-price products | Needs someone to answer instantly, hard to track |
| Instagram lead form | Many contacts quickly | Often low-quality contacts, little information shown |
| Landing page | Leads with intent, clear offer | Must load fast and match the ad |
If your goal is requests, bookings or orders, a landing page usually gives the most control.

Why a separate landing page, not the homepage
Your homepage talks about everything you do. A person who tapped an ad for "Kids' English classes, first lesson free" wants to see exactly that, not a menu with ten services. A landing page for ads:
- Repeats the ad's offer and visuals in the first screen.
- Shows the price or the main benefit right away.
- Answers the top three questions.
- Has one action: a short form or a Telegram button.
More on this in landing page for ads.
Built for Instagram's browser
When someone taps an ad, the page opens inside Instagram's own browser on a phone, often on mobile data. That changes the rules:
- Speed first. Heavy video backgrounds and large images lose people before the page appears.
- Big tap targets. Buttons for thumbs, not for a mouse.
- Short forms. Name and phone, maybe one question. Every extra field costs leads.
- Telegram or WhatsApp buttons. Many people prefer to write rather than fill in a form.
Check your page on a real phone, opened from Instagram, not only on a laptop. See our mobile website check.

Track which ad brings leads
Without tracking, you cannot tell which ad works. A simple setup:
- Add UTM tags to every ad link: campaign, ad set, ad.
- The landing page reads these tags and adds them to each request.
- The request arrives in Telegram with the campaign name.
- Analytics and the Meta pixel record visits and submitted forms.
Then you can stop ads that bring clicks but no requests. At Kinto, analytics setup costs from $500.
One page or several
If you advertise several services, make a separate page for each, or at least a separate first screen. An ad for "Gel manicure" and an ad for "Hair coloring" should not land on the same generic page.
What to put on the page
- First screen: the offer from the ad, a photo of the real product or result, a button.
- What is included and the price or "from" price.
- Proof: real photos of work, real reviews with sources.
- Short FAQ: 3 to 5 questions people actually ask.
- Contacts: form, Telegram button, address if relevant.
Common mistakes
- Ad promises a discount, page does not mention it. People feel misled and leave.
- Page loads in 6 seconds. Many people leave before it appears.
- Form with eight fields. Ask only what you need to call back.
- Requests go to an email nobody checks. Send them to a Telegram chat where the team sees them right away.
- No one answers quickly. A lead from an ad cools down fast. Agree who replies and how fast.
